Sea Day 6
Streamer is deployed, guns are banging, but all hopes may lie in the PAM (Passive Acoustic Monitoring) streamer. We're having trouble getting PAM working and without PAM we can't monitor marine mammal activity and comply with mammal mitigation restrictions. Jake says he is "hopeful and optimistic" after spending a tense night on watch following the unraveling events. He also mentioned that he is fully committed to sacrifice a chicken to appease any forces in the universe that may like that. Hopefully it won't come to that, after all, we just ate chicken for dinner last night and I'd prefer red meat instead of another of these questionable sacrifice chickens.
